  • Day Courses

    We offer a wide range of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering and Maths activity days.Our day courses can be tailored to cater for needs of differing year groups and abilities (KS1-4 and Post-16); they may also be extended to cover further learning over a number of days. All activities explore learning across and beyond the school curriculum in an exciting hands-on environment, and are enriched by encouraging participants’ aspirations to FE and HE.   • Starting Out Mentoring Scheme offering free support to PGCE students and NQTs in maths and science

    Starting Out Mentoring scheme offers support for PGCE students and NQTs in maths and science. This is a free service and support includes:

    • Face-to-face subject mentoring
    • E-mentoring
    • Network mentoring

    The scheme is entirely independent from school time and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. There are only 200 places available in the London Region. Register on-line as soon as possible at www.earlystemcareer.org.uk
    to avoid disappointment.

  • STUDENT ASSOCIATES SCHEME - for schools and University students

    For London Schools and University Students to apply... who have an interest in teaching Maths, Physics or Chemistry and wish to spend 15 days in a local school, assisting with teaching. All participating students receive a bursary payment. Schools can apply to have up to 10 undergraduates support STEM subject learning for a three week period (typically end June/early July 2010) and receive a grant for each undergraduate who completes the SAS.   • Med Impulse

    Course:Med Impulse Workshop

    Thinking of applying to study Medicine at University? Then this is the day for you. The Med Impulse Workshop provides sixth form students who are applying to do do medicine with valuable advice about the admission process. The event is delivered by current 5th year medical students of Imperial College. Students will practice doing questions for the BMAT as well as partake in an interview workshop and a tour of Imperial College. Applications made online.
