Course Overview
|
Participants work in teams to learn about the fascinating applications and latest research in Robotics, and will design and build their own robotic device to a challenge specification. Devices will compete as part of the final plenary exhibition of the course - to which families and teachers are invited.
Applications are now open online via this website. This course can be paid for by Debit/Credit Card or Bank transfer. We will contact the primary parent/guardian for payment details when we have allocated a place to you.

Course Aims
|
Learning focuses on robotic design and engineering comprising:
- gearing and forces
- robotic platform and parts assembly
- programming hardware and software options
- sequencing and writing
- remote control devices and programmes, and
- autonomous programming with sensors.
Students will also develop their communication and presentation skills and will take part in the plenary show, to which families will be invited |
